Turkey: 5 workers stranded due to heavy snow rescued

AYDIN, Turkey

Five workers were rescued on Sunday four days after they were stranded due to heavy snow on a wind farm in Turkey's western Madran mountain, officials said.

In a statement, the municipality of Aydin province said search and rescue team were sent to the mountain where the snow depth exceeded one meter.
