Turkish parliament speaker heads to Azerbaijan

ANKARA

Parliament Speaker Binali Yildirim said on Tuesday he will discuss bilateral relations and regional issues during his visit to Azerbaijan.

Speaking to reporters ahead of his visit, Yildirim said: "As we do not have any political problems, we are developing deep cooperation in every field, day by day."

Yildirim termed ties between the two countries as "stunning". He also said it is important to strengthen cultural ties.

The speaker is expected to meet Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Novruz Memmedov in capital Baku during his visit.
