Several journalists, including an Anadolu Agency (AA) cameraman, were injured in clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians in Palestine's West Bank region on Friday.
Watching the clashes in front of the Ofer Prison in the West Bank, AA's cameraman Muaz Hamid was injured on his back due to a blast bomb thrown nearby. Hamid was wearing clothing clearly showing he was a journalist.
During the clashes, four other journalists were injured due to plastic bullets fired by Israeli troops.
Earlier in the day, protests took place in the West Bank against the separation wall and Jewish settlements. In ensuing clashes between Israeli troops and Palestinians, around 200 Palestinians and 8 Israeli troops were injured.
