ANKARA
Anadolu Agency signed news cooperation agreement with Hungarian Telegraph Agency (MTI) and the Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA) in a ceremony held under auspices of Turkish and Hungarian prime ministers on Wednesday.
The cooperation agreement foresees the exchange of English text news stories of each agency and exchange of photographs through Anadolu Agency's newly established image platform of "Anadolu Images".
The agreement was signed by Anadolu Agency’s Director General and Chairman of the Board Kemal Ozturk, and MTI Director General Ferenc Gazsó.
This agreement marked Anadolu Agency's fifth news agreement deal within two months. Earlier, during News Agencies World Congress, Ozturk signed a news cooperation agreement with Saudi News Agency (SPA) and another agreement was signed with Japan's Kyodo News Agency. Also, on the sidelines of the fourth session of the Russian-Turkish High-Level Cooperation Council in St. Petersburg, AA signed agreements with ITAR-TASS and RIA Novosti to develop professional information gathering and enhance mutual cooperation.
