Anadolu Agency (AA) Executive Board Chairman and Director General Kemal Ozturk said that the agency would open a branch of its news academy in Egyptian capital of Cairo.
Ozturk visited the Middle East News Agency (MENA) in Cairo within the scope of promotion of AA's news stories in Arabic.
Ozturk met with MENA Editor-in-Chief Adel Abdul Aziz, stating that AA and MENA were the two important news agencies of Islamic world and the region.
AA wanted to benefit from experience MENA regarding the branch that would be opened in Cairo, he said.
Ozturk said that AA launched test Arabic news, and produced 100 news stories a day.
"We can benefit from experience of MENA on Arabic news reports," he said.
AA aimed to be included in the five largest news agencies in the world, he said.
Abdul Aziz said that they were ready to cooperate with Anadolu Agency.
