ANKARA
Voting to choose the AA's best "Photo and video of the month of August" began on Sunday.
Anadolu Agency's (AA) photos and videos taken in different corners of the world and Turkey are presented to its followers to vote via AA's Turkish, English, Russian, Bosnian and Arabic websites.
Each month, AA puts its photographs and videos (which were taken and recorded during the specific month) on the website (http://photovideorate.aa.com.tr/) for the voters to choose the best of the month.
Taken and recorded by AA photojournalists and camera operators in August 2013, 15 selected photos under the categories of "News" "Sports" and "Life", and 5 video news will be open for the public voting until Thursday, September 5, and the results will be announced on September 6.

"News" category:
Syrian civil war
