UNITED NATIONS
Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon called on all sides to refrain from acts which may increase tension in the region.
Ban Ki-moon's commments came a day after Israeli war jets bombed a Syrian military research center in Damascus killing two and wounding five people.
In a statement released on Thursday, Ban Ki-moon's office said the UN Secretary General was following the reports coming from the region with concern.
FSA:Possibility of Israel hitting Syrian military convoy carrying arms to Hezbollah was very high
On the other hand, a high level commander with the Free Syrian Army (FSA), Arif al-Hammud said that the possibility of Israel hitting a Syrian military convoy carrying arms to Hezbollah was very high.
"We do know that the Syrian regime is feeling that the end is near. We also know that the Syrian regime sends heavy weaponry to the Hezbollah so that these weapons do not end up in the hands of the FSA. If the Israeli troops wanted to hit research centers, they would have hit centers out of Aleppo," al-Hammud also said.
Syrian officials on Wednesday said that Israeli war jets bombed a Syrian military research center in a suburb region of Damascus killing two and wounding five people.
