Speaking while meeting Marcon, Yazici said that "blocking Turkey's EU membership would not benefit the EU, France or the region".
"Relations between Turkey and France go back centuries," Yazici noted.
"Turkey and France had a bilateral trade volume of 16 billion USD in 2011," Yazici stressed.
"I believe that blocking Turkey's EU membership would not benefit the EU," Yazici expressed.
Marcon, in his part, said that they wanted to see Turkish companies in France.
"Turkish companies must be present in France as Turkey now has political and economic stability," Marcon also said.
