Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that public servants, who had been kidnapped by PKK terrorist organization, would be released on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, and brought back to Turkey.
A delegation, which will be comprised of three deputies from Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) --Sebahat Tuncel, Adil Kurt and Husamettin Zenderlioglu-- as well as several other officials, will bring the kidnapped public servants back to Turkey, added Arinc speaking after the Council of Ministers meeting on Monday.
The delegation will go to the north of Iraq via Turkey's southeastern Sirnak province, and return to Turkey on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning together with the public servants, said Arinc.
He warned that the situation should not be used as a propaganda tool.
Arinc recalled that a total of ten public servants had been held captive by PKK terrorists.
Regarding the explosion, which occurred at Cilvegozu border gate between Turkey and Syria on February 11, Arinc recalled that 14 people had been killed and 26 others had been wounded in the explosion, and said that now eight people in connection with the incident were sent to court today.
