ISTANBUL
Turkish club Fenerbahce stated Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended the execution of banning the club from European cups for two years.
Aziz Yildirim, chariman of Fenerbahce club, gave Fenerbahce fans a piece of good news after the decision of CAS that Fenerbahce will compete in Champions League in this season.
In the meantime, the shares of Fenerbahce Football Company increased 10.6% in Borsa Istanbul (BIST).
Fenerbahce wanted CAS to remove its ban until its appeal is completed.
Fenerbahce and Besiktas filed an application to the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in regards to UEFA approved bans.
