Turkish Food, Agriculture & Animal Breeding Minister Mehdi Eker said that developing commercial and cultural relations besides the political ones between Turkey and France would be for the interest of both countries.
Eker, who attended a reception in Paris, stressed the importance of food and agricultural products.
Expressing hope that the relations between Turkey and France would further develop, Eker said that besides political relations, developing the commercial and cultural relations was also for the interest of both countries.

Minister Mehdi Eker expressed hope that agriculture chapter in Turkey's EU accession talks would advance through France.
Agricultural cooperation between Turkey and France is important, said Eker who visited stands of Turkish companies participating in World Food Fair 2012 in France.
Eker told AA that Turkey attended the fair with 256 companies.
Nearly 5,900 companies over 100 countries are participating in the fair which is held once in two years. The fair will continue till October 25.
