ANKARA (AA) - Here are the main topics that the English News Desk of Anadolu Agency will cover on October 30, 2013.
1- Izmir, Turkey's third biggest metropolis, will host the Fifth Izmir Economic Congress at Swissotel. Turkish President Abdullah Gul will deliver remarks at the opening ceremony of the congress, which will be held with the attendance of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
2- Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, and Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank, will also deliver speeches at the opening ceremony of Izmir Economic Congress.
3- Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek of Turkey will receive Ria Ooman-Ruijten, European Parliament's Rapporteur for Turkey, in capital Ankara.
