CAIRO
The senior Turkish diplomat in Egypt said on Friday that Egyptian-Turkish cooperation would bring stability to the region.
Turkey's Ambassador in Cairo Huseyin Avni Botsali said cooperation between Egypt, situated in the south of the Mediterranean, and Turkey, in the north of the Mediterranean, would bring stability to the region.
"If two countries join their forces they get from their own stability and economic development, this will have a great contribution to regional peace," Botsali said as he answered questions of Anadolu Agency (AA) Editors' Desk.
AA Director General and Executive Board President Kemal Ozturk and Botsali visited AA's office in Cairo.
"AA has chosen Cairo as the center of its Arabic news edition, which is a result of the agency's great vision and targets," Botsali also said.
