ANKARA
Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis met former Speaker of European Parliament Hans-Gert Pottering in Ankara on Tuesday.
Replying to questions on the progress report on Turkey that is expected to be made public by the European Commission on Wednesday, Bagis said that the report was not a report card. "We attach importance to the report we will make public at the end of the year," he said.
EU's credibility has weakened in Turkey in the recent period, he added.
