SANLIURFA
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday said that they began to see the positive results of the resources allocated to south-eastern Anatolia and efforts made for the region.
Speaking at a meeting organized by the Turkish Union of Chambers of Agriculture (TZOB) in the south-eastern province of Sanliurfa on Saturday, Erdogan said that exports made from the region went up by 10 fold and reached a value of seven billion USD.
"The rate of unemployment in the region went down to 11 percent from 17 percent," Erdogan also said.
