ANKARA (AA) - Public Prosecutor Kemal Cetin sent an almost 50-page indictment regarding the demise of Turgut Ozal to the 13th High Criminal Court in Ankara.
If the court accepts the indictment, Levent Ersoz will be tried under Article 156 of the Turkish Penal Code which calls for life in prison sentence for those who may have been involved in an assassination plot against the Turkish President.
Ersoz is currently being tried under the Balyoz (Sledgehammer) case which involved a military plan to overthrow the elected Turkish government back in 2003.
