ISTANBUL
Member of Turkish Parliament and a Justice and Development (AK) Party deputy in Ordu province, Idris Naim Sahin, announced his resignation from the ruling AK Party on Wednesday.
Sahin said his resignation came after witnessing some policies which do not fit the "purpose related to our national interests and national values recently."
Idris Naim Sahin was a former interior minister of the Turkish government.
