Russia hosts the G-20Y Summit sponsored by Anadolu Agency.
The summit started with the opening ceremony by IOC President and Founder, Ksenia Khoruzhnikova, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Chairman of the G-20Y Summit Business Assembly President, Jean-Luc Larribau. The opening ceremony was also attended by representatives of embassies and consulates.
In a press conference after the opening ceremony, Chairman of the G-20Y Summit Business Assembly President Jean-Luc Larribau answered questions from press members. After the opening ceremony, a plenary session focusing on "G-20Y Generation building long-term Economic Prosperity" was held.
During the next three days, G-20Y Summit participants will have committee sessions where they will prepare a set of independent recommendations to be disseminated across the world and shared, in particular, with the G20 Heads of States and leading international organizations such as IMF, World Bank, OECD, the European Commission and Basel Committee of Banking Supervision.
There are seven committees which will deal with Implementation of the G20 Framework for Strong, Sustainable and Balanced Growth, Recommendations on Policies to Stimulate Job Creation and Labor Activities, Food Security with a Focus on Agricultural Production Increase, Fighting Corruption, Completion of the Financial Stability Board Transformation, The City of Tomorrow, Creating trust between Governments, Businesses and Communities.
Decision-makers from international organizations IMF, World Bank, OECD, European Commission and Basel Committee of Banking Supervision, and senior executives from global companies such as PepsiCo Americas Beverages, Zurich Insurance Group are joining the summit for three days.
