ANKARA
The statistical institute of Turkey, TurkStat, announced on Tuesday that the Industrial Turnover Index in November increased by 15.9% compared to the same month last year.
In the sub sectors level of industry, mining and quarrying index increased by 7.2% and manufacturing index increased by 16.3% in November 2013 compared with same month of the previous year.
When the change rates of Industrial Turnover Index in November 2013 compared with November of 2012 are inspected, the highest increase was in repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 63.9%, it is followed by manufacture of leather and related products by 40.8% and manufacture of electrical equipment by 28.1%.
When the change rates of Industrial Turnover Index in November 2013 compared with November of 2012 are inspected, the highest decrease was in other manufacturing by 46.1%, it is followed by manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products by 3.3% and manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations by 2.6%.
Meanwhile, Industrial Turnover Index had increased 6.8% in October 2013 compared with the same month in previous year.
