Ten Daesh suspects, believed to be linked to the recent Sultanahmet bomb attack, were remanded into custody after a court appearance in Istanbul Sunday, judicial sources said.
The Criminal Court of Peace released six other suspects, but imposed a travel ban on them.
The suspects were accused of “intentional killing” and "being a member of an armed terror organization".
A suicide bomb attack at Istanbul's Sultanahmet district on Tuesday morning killed 10 people – mostly German tourists – and wounded 15 others.
Security forces arrested dozens of people across Turkey, including three Russian nationals, for alleged links with Daesh since the bombing.
Turkey has suffered several attacks recently, from ultra-left groups as well as Daesh, amid renewed terror campaign in the country’s southeast by the PKK terror organization.
