KABUL
A Turkish businessman, who had been kidnapped by armed assailants in Afghanistan ten days ago, was rescued with an operation on Wednesday.
Sami Yavuz, head of Afghanistan Turkish Industrialists & Businessmen's Association, was rescued with a joint operation of intelligence service and security forces.
Officials said that Yavuz's condition was good.
Ten days ago, armed assailants had forced 41-year-old Yavuz to get on a car, and kidnapped him in Kabul.
Yavuz has been living in Kabul with his family for more than ten years.
