ANKARA (AA) - April 23, 2013 - Land Forces Commander Gen. Hayri Kivrikoglu denied the claims that Turkish troops were being withdrawn from the region (southeast Turkey) within the scope of solution process to Kurdish issue.
There is no withdrawal; it is an organization for summer season which is quite normal, said Gen. Kivrikoglu.
It was claimed that the troops were withdrawn from the southeastern region of Turkey within the scope of solution process to Kurdish issue.
Meanwhile, earlier on Tuesday, it was announced that PKK terrorist organization would begin to withdraw from Turkey after April 25.
We are continuing our ordinary mission in the region, said Gen. Kivrikoglu.
