"Michael Jackson the Immortal World Tour" brought to stages by Cirque Du Soleil will meet the audience on March 15, 16 and 17 in Istanbul.
The show, scripted and directed by one of the most famous performing arts directors, Jamie King, will charm the audience with a musical and dance feast with exciting visual and artistic performances.
Tara Young, art director of the show, stated that Istanbul was the 97th stop of the show and added, "If Michael Jackson was with us, he would be proud of our show" at the meeting organized to promote the show in Istanbul.
Stating that 49 artists from 17 countries acted in the show and five of the musicians have worked with Michael Jackson for over 30 years, Young said, "This makes our show reliable and authentic. There is only one Michael Jackson in the world. We are not imitating him, we want to glorify his memory and continue his heritage."
The tickets for the show, which will take place at the Ulker Sports Arena, will vary between 75 and 225 Turkish liras and five shows will take place between March 15 and 17.
Cirque Du Soleil, centred in Montreal, was established in 1984. The group consisting of 20 street artists at the beginning, makes shows with over 1,200 artists from over 50 countries today. Cirque Du Soleil has reached over 100 million people in 300 cities with 90 productions.
