61 people were killed and 91 others injured in 80 mine accidents in Turkey in 2012.
According to the Chamber of Mining Engineers of Turkey, 80 accidents took place at Turkish mines out of which 55 took place under soil.
3,053 Turks were killed and 326,208 others were injured in mine accidents in Turkey between the years of 1955 and 2012.
