ANKARA
Trade volume between Moldova and Turkey is valued at half a billion dollars but Turkey aims to double this to 1 billion dollars, says Turkish President Abdullah Gul during a joint press conference on the Moldovan president's visit to Ankara Wednesday.
“Turkey is a big financial power in the region and finance is the main element in our relations with Turkey,” said Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti during an interview with AA.
“There are many Turkish companies operating in Moldova, opening work places and producing quality products,” said Timofti adding that Turkey was the most visited country by Moldavans last year.
