ESKISEHIR (AA) - Commander of the Turkish Air Forces Mehmet Erten said that Turkey was always proud of serving security of NATO member countries as well as contributing to the ongoing peace in the region and the world.
General Erten made an address in the closing ceremony of NATO/CAOC-6 forces in Eskisehir city, saying, "NATO is an organization which is an envoy for global peace and security."
Erten also reminded that Turkey has been a member of NATO since 1952, adding, "We have backed up NATO operations with our full opportunities for 61 years."
