JEDDAH
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu who attended a meeting in Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah of foreign ministers said on Monday that he expressed concerns over developments in Syria.
Speaking to AA correspondent regarding the meeting in Jeddah, Davutoglu said that in the meeting, they highlighted that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should launch initiatives within the scope of diplomatic situation that emerged after resignation of Kofi Annan.
Davutoglu said that he also mentioned situation of Muslims in Arakan region of Myanmar.
The extraordinary summit of the OIC that would be held on Tuesday would focus on Palestine, Syria, Myanmar and Mali, he said.
Davutoglu said he wanted a contact group to be established for Muslims in Myanmar.
