Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that the Anadolu Agency applied to court for some media groups' illegal use of 1,280 of their photos, text and video content up until the end of 2013.
Arinc in response to a written parliamentary question on Monday submitted by the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), said the "AA has filed 65 criminal complaints towards social media content such as defamation, threat and slander. The agency has started executive proceedings on 285 cases for compensation."
