HAKKARI (AA) - September 6, 2012 - One village guard was killed when PKK terrorists attacked village guards on duty at a construction site for a military outpost in Yuksekova town of the south-eastern province of Hakkari on Thursday.
PKK terrorists opened fire on the village guards with long range rifles.
In a clash between PKK terrorists and village guards, village guard Kenan Tasel was killed.
Tasel was 28 years old.
A large number of Turkish security personnel was dispatched to the region following the clash between the village guards and PKK terrorists.
A wide security operation began in the region to find and arrest the PKK terrorists responsible for Thursday's attack in Yuksekova.
