Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan phoned the U.S. President Barack Obama and congratulated him for getting re-elected.
Erdogan's phone call lasted around 10 minutes.
During the phone conversation, both leaders expressed a desire to closely work with each other as it happened during the first term of President Obama.
