Police seize 5 tons of smuggled oil in Turkey

TEKIRDAG, Turkey

Turkish police confiscated 5 tons (over 11000 pounds) of smuggled oil in the northwestern Tekirdag province, local authorities said.

Local police forces stopped a truck on the highway after it was suspected of smuggling oil.

With oil confiscated, the truck was also seized.
