The death toll rose to 32 in protests in the Egyptian city of Port Said against an Egyptian court's verdict which gave death sentences to 21 people.

A clash took place between Egyptian security forces and protestors who blocked the road to the Tahrir Square.
While the protestors threw stones on the security forces, Egyptian security teams responded back by using tear gas to disperse the crowd.
Egyptian opposition has been holding anti-system rallies on the second anniversary of the Egyptian revolution. The rallies continue in all corners of Egypt.
On the other hand, an Egyptian court's verdict sentencing 21 individuals to death in the Port Said case led to violent protests.
At least 32 people, including 2 police officers, were killed in violent incidents following the court's verdict. The Port Said case involved the death of 74 people during a football match last February in Port Said.
