ANKARA
The ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party MPs submitted a bill to parliament to amend several laws on judiciary on Tuesday.
The MPs led by Bartin Deputy Yilmaz Tunc submitted a bill to the Turkish Parliament proposing to amend six laws on judiciary including a regulation on the Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK).
If the bill is passed, the current members of HSYK will be removed from duty and appointed to other posts as deemed appropriate by the Ministry of Justice within a term of ten days.
