ANKARA (AA) - July 25, 2012 - "Security Summit" at Turkish Prime Ministry focused on the acts of PKK terrorist organization in Turkey and neighboring countries.
Additional measures, which will be taken within the scope of the national security, were also discussed during the summit, noted a statement released after the meeting that was chaired by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday.
Participants also discussed recent developments in Syria and the activities which have been pursued within the scope of fight against terrorism.
Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin, Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Ozel, and National Security Agency (MIT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan attended the summit.
