Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister & Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said that his country would open an embassy in Turkish capital Ankara by the end of 2012.
Speaking at Turkey-Singapore Business Forum on Wednesday, Shanmugaratnam said that Turkey and Singapore were serving as doors in their own regions.
We will open an embassy in Ankara by the end of 2012, he noted.
Meanwhile, Turkey-Singapore Business Council Chairman Mehmet Pinar Aran said that the relations between the two countries developed significantly.
However, we are willing to further develop the relations between the companies of the two countries and make successful joint investments, he said.
