KILIS, Turkey
A teenage boy became the third fatality of a rocket attack in southern Turkey, a medical source said Saturday.
Mahmut Emre Arslan, 14, passed away at Kilis State Hospital, the source said on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Friday’s attack saw two rockets fired from Daesh-controlled territory in Syria, initially killing two people and injuring four others, including Arslan.
Kilis, which lies six kilometers (four miles) from the Syrian border, has been hit by several rockets fired from Syria in recent months. On Monday, four rockets fired across the border killed five people and injured six in the city.
