ANKARA
Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said that a recent "privatization tender held for Turkish bridges and highways was cancelled today after an evaluation and decision of the Privatization High Council."
In a written statement released on Friday, Mehmet Simsek said that the privatization tender for bridges and highways, which was concluded on December 17, 2012, has been cancelled.
According to the tender, Turkish bridges and highways were privatized for a period of 25 years.
