NIGDE
A major road crash in central Turkey has killed at least 13 people and injured one, police said Friday.
A car and a light commercial vehicle were involved in a collision in the early hours of Friday morning on Turkey’s Aksaray-Adana highway, near the Bor district in the province of Nigde.
Eleven people died at the scene. Two of three people brought to a hospital in Nigde could not be saved.
No official statement was released about the cause of the crash.
