ANKARA
Six new female ambassadors will represent Turkey in foreign countries, an appointment decree issued Friday by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
According to the decree, Sarajevo Embassy Undersecretary Yasemin Eralp has been appointed as ambassador in the Tanzanian capital Dar as-Salam, Odessa Consul General Hatice Nur Sagman as ambassador in the Guinean capital Conakry and Geneva Consul General Nurdan Bayraktar Golder as ambassador in the Gabonese capital Libreville.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director General of the Council of Europe and Human Rights Bureau at the Foreign Ministry, Kivilcim Kilic, was appointed as ambassador to Pristina, capital of Kosova.
Also, Deputy Director General for the OSCE Arms Control and Disarmament Kezban Nilvana Darama has been assigned as Turkey's ambassador in Minsk, capital of Belarus while Hayriye Kumascioglu -- Deputy Director General for Central Asia and the Caucasus at the Foreign Ministry -- as ambassador in the Estonian capital Tallinn.
The decree also replaces ambassadors to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Australia, Sri Lanka, Montenegro, Kosovo, Indonesia, Algeria, Lebanon, Turkmenistan and Malta.
Turkey will also send new ambassadors to Nigeria, Djibouti, Chad, Burkina Faso, Saudi Arabia, Cameroon and Guatemala.
