ANKARA
Turkish Minister of Forestry and Water Works Veysel Eroglu and Djibouti's Foreign Minister Mahamoud Ali Youssouf attended the JEC meeting and the signature ceremony for a memorandum of understanding.
Speaking at the ceremony, Eroglu indicated that they were open to all forms of cooperation with Djibouti, a country they considered as a logistics base.
"It seems possible for Turkish goods to enter the East African market via Djibouti," Eroglu also said.
Youssouf, in his part, said that they would extend all possible support to Turkish investors willing to invest in Djibouti.
Eroglu and Youssouf later signed an agreement on cooperation in the health and energy fields.
