ANKARA
The tender for Turkey's 4G mobile network services and infrastructure, scheduled for May 26, will be postponed for three months, theTransport, Maritime Affairs and Communication Ministry said on Friday in a statement.
“As per requests from bidders for additional time to complete the technical and financial preparations and to evaluate the petitions from bidders asking for changes in contract specifications, it was agreed that the tender announced to be held on May 26 will be postponed three months,” the statement said.
In March, Turkey’s telecommunications authority announced a minimum bid of €2.3 billion ($2.44 billion) for mobile operators who want operate in the 4G frequency.
