ISTANBUL (AA) - A prosecutor in Turkey demanded aggravated lifetime imprisonment for Ziya T., the murder suspect US national Sarai Sierra, New Yorker who was stabbed to death last February in Istanbul.
Prosecutor charged Ziya T. "first-degree murder".
Sarai Sierra's dead body was found on February 2 in Istanbul after she disappeared at the end of a two-week long trip through Europe and Turkey.
One-and-a-half months later, the murder suspect was captured while trying to flee the country.
