ANKARA
The next NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting will be hosted by Turkey on 13-14 May in Antalya, Turkey's Foreign Ministry announced Thursday.
The Foreign Ministry said within the margins of the meeting, a series of other sessions will also take place with member countries' foreign ministers.
"The decision on these additional sessions shall be taken in the forthcoming months in light of developments in international security," the statement said. "Taking place at a time of high risks and threats at NATO’s southern border, the meeting will also highlight Alliance solidarity."
Turkey previously hosted meetings of NATO Foreign and Defence Ministers in 1994 and 2010, respectively, and the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government in 2004.
The 28 foreign ministers of member countries lastly held a meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels in December.
