ANKARA
Turkey’s Foreign Ministry warned its citizens from traveling to South Sudan unless mandatory.
Due to the deterioration of security and stability in capital Juba since the conflict began on December 15, Turkish citizens’ safety could be at stake, according to the Foreign Ministry’s written statement.
At least 500 people have died and 800 have been wounded since clashes began a few days ago.
‘’Turkish citizens who are currently in South Sudan must be cautious for their own safety,’’ the statement said.
‘’Citizens are advised to follow any warnings given from our embassy in Juba.’’
