ISTANBUL
Turkish Cargo, an air cargo carrier subsidiary of Turkey's national airlines company, the Turkish Airlines, has won "the Overall Carrier of the Year" award presented by the Singapore-based Payload Asia magazine in the Inaugural Payload Asia Awards 2012.
Nearly 26 thousand readers voted in the competition and the Turkish company was selected from among the top three finalists narrowed down by a panel of judges out of a total of 78 competing companies.
Company's Asia and Far East director, Huseyin Ceyhan, received the award at a ceremony held in Singapore which was participated by the head of Singapore's civil aviation authority, Yap Ong Heng.
