Turkiye's Yunus Emre Institute (YEE) and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) inked on Tuesday an agreement to hold a summer internship program in the field of high technology, the YEE said.
A summer school and internship program will be organized by the Presidency of Turkiye as a part of the Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project of Turkiye (TABIP), which is carried out by the YEE.
In a statement, the YEE said the deal was signed between Temel Kotil, the head of TAI, and Seref Ates, who heads the YEE.
Foreign students who want to join the summer school and internship program can apply through the YEE's centers abroad.
The protocol aims to develop scientific, academic and commercial cooperation through the YEE's centers abroad, strengthen TAI's network outside Turkiye and support the YEE's activities in cultural and scientific diplomacy.
More information on the program will be shared on the YEE and TAI websites soon.
