ANKARA
Five Turkish humanitarian aid workers who have been taken under custody in Kenya were released on Tuesday, Turkish diplomatic sources said.
The aid workers with the Humanitarian Aid Association were kept at a security checkpoint.
They were brought to Nairobi after their release by a team of Turkish diplomatic officials headed by Turkish Ambassador Huseyin Avni Aksoy.
The Turkish aid workers will spent the night in Nairobi and they will return to Turkey on Thursday, sources said.
