Speaking to reporters after the meetings, as part of his visit in The Hague to attend a ceremony that concludes celebrations to mark the 400th anniversary of bilateral relations, Babacan said Turkey and the Netherlands shared similar views over a wide array of international and regional issues, adding that terrorism, regional matters and the Middle East were also on the agenda of his contacts.
Babacan said Turkey and the Netherlands had a great potential in trade and business, adding that both sides were wiling to materialize that potential.
Ploumen, on her part, said Turkey was an important partner her country in terms of trade and economy, adding that Turkey had a dynamic economy.
The Turkish deputy premier is expected to proceed to Rotterdam after concluding his contacts in The Hague.
