ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan
Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci was accepted by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow in Oguzhan Presidential Palace in Ashgabat on Tuesday.
Zeybekci expressed his hope that relations between the two countries should further be developed economically and culturally. He affirmed that Turkish companies already successfully carry out hundreds of projects in Turkmenistan including the Olympic village that costed US$5 billion, Ashgabat Airport and Turkmenbashi international seaport costing US$2 billion each.
The Turkmen leader reiterated the minister's sentiments for greater cooperation between the two countries.
