ANKARA
Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek became a father for the first time on Monday when his wife gave birth to twin girls.
"I have the pleasure of sharing with you the happiest moment of my life with the birth of my beautiful twin girls," Simsek wrote on Twitter.
Minister Simsek married his second wife, architect Esra Kara, in January 2010.
